A Win for Students, A Win for the Economy and Overwhelming Support for Teachers (PHOENIX, AZ) In a historic win,
What’s At Stake – Peter Coston
Dear Opponents of Invest in Education,
I hope you understand the meaning of 435,000 Arizona citizens asking fellow citizens to consider being able to choose to support public education in our state. The decision to remove the Invest In Ed ballot measure is not the right way for opponents to express their opposition.
What is fair is for us to debate the details and merits of the proposal in front of the Arizona voters and let us decide, as our state constitution provides.
We know that there is much to do to improve educational outcomes for Arizona kids and families. Educators and business leaders looking to grow their businesses here understand the economic and social value of high quality education.
As an educator and citizen, I ask you to reverse this decision and to allow voters to choose on Invest In Ed.
